St Giles
Angel Guillem from Brazil, currently studying at our San Francisco centre, gives us tips on places to visit in the sunny (and slightly windy!) Californian city:
San Francisco is known for its beauty and for many places to visit. The weather is not what you would expect for California. It doesn’t matter if it’s summer. When you go out, you should wear something to protect you from the cold wind!
There are some places that you can’t forget to go to, on the famous cable cars for example. On the cable cars, you can reach some places like Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Pier 39, Washington Square, Coit Tower, and the famous Lombard Street.
Also, you should go to Alamo Square, Golden Gate Park, Chinatown, and the most important and famous places of all, don’t forget to go to the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz! These places are the symbols of San Francisco.
