St Giles
Every February in Canada, we have a special day called “Pink Shirt Day.” This is a day when we wear a pink shirt to work or to school. The point of “Pink Shirt Day” is to raise awareness about bullying. The original event was organized by two high school students in Berwick, Nova Scotia, who in 2007 bought and distributed 50 pink shirts after a ninth grade male student was bullied for wearing a pink shirt during the first day of school.
You can find more information about Pink Shirt Day on their website.
Here are the St Giles Vancouver office staff showing their support and wearing pink!
